When registering your breeding dog(s)

  1. Signed  pedigree from the original breeder of the dog OR, if this dog has been  registered with the ALCA previously, provide the signed, Transfer of  Ownership, along with the ALCA pedigree, or registered name of the dog.  The ALCA is not affiliated with the ALAA or the WALA, therefore we do  not accept the pedigrees from these clubs without full identification of  the ancestry dog.

  2. If  your dog came from an ALCA Breeder Member, you will be given a Litter  Registration form from the breeder at the time of Purchase- You must  have this form completed and signed by the Breeder and yourself. Please  email this, along with the other required documents to the Registrar.

  3. For all dogs registered after February 1, 2019, the below testing is required:

CHECKLIST:

  • Application for New Puppy Registration (if purchased from ALCA member).

  • Hip and Elbow Evaluation Report

  • PRA  clearance (DNA test required if proof of both parents clearance not  provided) Paw Print Genetics Partner providing discounts to our members.

  • OFA Eye Certification results (must be completed by an animal Ophthalmologist).

  • Pedigree Certificate (must be provided by and signed by the breeder that whelped the dog), should include ancestry breed identification.

  • All other required testing.

  • *****Furthermore, if  you have conducted additional health testing for the dog you are  registering, please feel free to submit that as well. We recognize above  and beyond.
